A famous priest in Mt.Kuramayama is said to have beaten a large snake by Shito’s power. Takekiri means cutting bamboo and Eshiki means event. In this event priests in Mt.Kuramayama are separated into two teams and compete which team can cut a 4-meter long bamboo, resembling a big snake, quicker.
