Unpin-jishi

Unpin-jishi is the name of the lion dance performed at Obama Shrine. When Sakai Tadakatsu was assigned the lord of Obama City in 1634, he brought lion dancers from his former territory and had them stay in Unpin in Obama City. This is why the dance was named Unpin-jishi.
