Introduction of The Festival
Kenka Matsuri in Nada | Hyogo Pref |
---|
Yatai and Mikoshi
Also known as Nada Matsuri, the festival has many spectacular scenes. These include three portable shrines pushing each other, the fighting of six large floats (seven floats on the 17th) and a performance of the lion dance. Macho fighting among the portable shrine carriers can be seen because it is believed that the deity is pleased to watch intense fighting.
