Onioi (kicking off devils) Odori is the dance performed by an Okina (old man) and four Oni (devils), in red, blue, black or russet colors. It starts with a dance by Okina who swings a flaming Taimatsu torch. Five performers make a big jump upward or swing the sticks or weapons in response to the simple sound of gongs while dancing.
