Awa Ningyo-joruri puppet play in Nosonbutai theater
In 2001, the theater, which was first established in the current location in 1951, was rebuilt after a long suspension because of aging. It was reformed fully again taking the opportunity of the National Cultural Festival 2007 held in Tokushima. Since then attractive plays have been performed featuring Fusuma-Karakuri (sliding door trick).
