The performers of the festival start parading led by “Jyubakojishi,” which is a Kylin lion. Its head is made of liquid paper with lacquer in the shape of “Jyubako,” boxes which are made to be stacked one on top of the other. The parade also features “Kawatogyo,” portable shrines crossing a river.
