Togurahachiman Jinja Autumn Festival Fukui Pref

Sumo Jinku

“Aso-no-sumo” (literary, Japanese wrestling in Aso village) is popular locally and it is dedicated to the Togurahachiman Shrine at their Autumn festival. Jinku is a form of traditional Japanese songs. Ten Sumo wrestlers step into the ring wearing ornamental aprons and sing “Sumo Jinku” while dancing.
